Monin and Exitas demonstrate how organizations can bring AI directly to the database, the core system where critical and often sensitive information is stored. By enabling AI capabilities within the database itself, users can query data in natural language without technical expertise. All answers are based entirely on secure internal datasets, while data remains fully protected within the organization’s environment.

In this session we’ll introduce you to three ways of using AI closely with the Oracle database:

• Select AI
  • This will translate natural language queries into SQL. Allows advanced analytics acccessible to non-technical users.
• Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • An open standard to securely connect with the database from AI models/agents.
• AI Vector Search
  • A technology that enables similarity-based search using vector embeddings.
  • We will also discover how to use these vectors to augment the answers of a chatbot with private data.
